1 | Surround yourself with things and people that feel like safety.
2 | Walk the talk : walk as much as you can - inside the house, outside the house, while doing chores. Movement is related to elevated mental health and sense of well being. The physical effects will be a bonus.
3 | WordInc : Shinrin-Yoku // Forest-bathing; essentially meaning - ‘washing’ self with nature for an improved quality of life. Find ways to connect with the elements in whatever forms they are currently accessible to you.
4 | There is no right way to feel empowered. The freedom to CHOOSE is the only form of it. Choose for yourself and enable others to do it too.
5 | What one resists, persists. What one accepts, dissolves. Dissolve. Evolve.
6 | Time is a construct. The PRESENT is all there is. Make the most of it for yourself. Don't fixate on the past or the future. They’re not real.
7 | Do not water yourself down just because you are too strong for someone. Find your fitment. Find your TRIBE.
8 | Your time. Your advice. Your patience. Your listening ear. Your money. Your talent. Whatever you can, whenever you can. GIVE.
9 | No one is you. That is your superpower. Step into it. Accept it. Use it.
10 | You've made it this far. Celebrate your strength. That's it. That is the 'tea' so to speak, for this week of the series. Pausing, reflecting, taking stock and patting yourself on the back. Good, bad and ugly, whatever it was, you made it past, you made it through and THAT reflects strength. Kindle kindness, give yourself grace.
11 | Learn how to breathe. And no, we don’t mean it rhetorically. Most of the population today does not know how to breathe well, as the bodily function was originally designed.
12 | Train your mind, the rest will follow.
